SliceLine — order & kitchen-flow management for Italian takeaways
From phone-and-paper chaos to one screen: orders in, kitchen in sync.
Context
Italian takeaways and pizzerias juggle phone orders, paper tickets and walk-ins at rush hour — with software built for full restaurants, priced for full restaurants, and tied to proprietary hardware.
Problem
A small food business needs three things at 19:45 on a Friday: speed at the counter, clarity in the kitchen, and zero training time. Most systems deliver none of them.
Solution
SliceLine is Farhaan's own product designed around the takeaway flow: order-taking tuned for speed, a live kitchen view that keeps the line moving, and a PWA architecture that runs on any tablet — no proprietary hardware, no lock-in. Built as a modern monorepo (React, Express, Turborepo).
Outcome
A focused product design that connects order handling and kitchen flow in one system — proof of end-to-end product thinking: from a real operational problem to working software.
